5052 Aluminum Bar Description
5052 aluminum alloy belongs to the widely used Al-Mg series. 5052 aluminum bar features good corrosion resistance, excellent weldability, good cold workability and medium strength. 5052 aluminum alloy is the most widely used anti-rust aluminum. This alloy has high strength, high plasticity and corrosion resistance. Unlike many other aluminum alloy, it has good plasticity during semi-cold work hardening and cold work. Also, it has low plasticity when hardened, and can be easily polished. However, it cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. 5052 aluminum bar is mainly used for applications requiring high plasticity and good weldability.
